It’s the Spring Classic weekend!

All the permits are in place with City of Moose Jaw for the road race. Operational Orders for the crit have been issued. Now we just need to get out and prep the road course. The final tally has not been done on the registration numbers but the registration was pretty good this year with about 40 participants and the categories are pretty balanced.

There is some sweeping that needs to be done tonight so bring a broom and we can meet at 630 at the bottom 1st Avenue SE and Wellesley St East. That is the main corner that needs to be swept. If you can bring a push broom we should get this done quickly.

Saturday help is needed at the crit. Setup with 4-6 people makes it go quickly. Marshaling the crit. is pretty easy and you can watch from the great places on the course. After the racing the pylons need to be picked up and delivered to the MPs shed. We are meeting at the shed behind the 15 Wing entry office at 11:30 Saturday morning. We will load pylons and then setup on the tarmac.

Marshals are needed to Sundays road race along with a couple of scribes for the commissaires. The commissaires will be doing the driving and need someone to take notes. Three scribs are needed. There are 3 important corners that we need people at to control traffic and a couple other areas that having a marshal present would be good. Lets meet at the Red Knight Arena parking lot Sunday morning at 11:30.
