The Moose Jaw Pavers are excited to be able to offer youth trail riding each weekend for May and June, led by an NCCP coach. This will be organized a little different this year as it will be primarily trail riding with focused learning on trail skills. There will be 2 age groups (8-12 and 13-17). This will follow all the rules as required by Saskatchewan Health Authority and Saskatchewan Cycling Association (SCA). All that is required is a mountain bike, helmet, water bottle and a membership with the SCA and Moose Jaw Pavers (insurance coverage).
As a registered club member you will have access to something new called CycleClubApp. This is a tool provided by Saskatchewan Cycling Association that includes features for organizing rides including signup and attendance, ride updates and a covid pre-ride check. The app is available both on the web or via a mobile app. It is really easy to get started following the instructions at https://www.cycleclubapp.com/getting-started . If you have any questions or need some guidance setting up email firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is time to dust off the bikes and get them ready for an active time of spring and summer riding. Changes will be made to adjust to any needed changes in the SCA Return to Play. Sign up for your membership HERE!

While things may have been quiet on here over the Winter, we have been busy. Since the AGM a Club Constitution has been developed to support the Bylaws that were approved. These are HERE. Going forward the Club Board will be comprised of an Executive Board and coordinators. The constitution provides the operational framework. The Board members are posted HERE.
As we look forward to activities for 2021, there are unknowns, but we are planning to hold the club activities that we can within the framework of the SCA Return to Play, along with the Provinces public health restrictions. Hopefully, there is some clarity on the situation soon and we can post a tentative plan for 2021 by mid March.
Registration is now open for the year (LINK) and membership will be required to participate in all club activities. Membership is important for the club. Memberships help assist us with obtaining grants for expenses related to trail maintenance. Membership also provides you with insurance for club activities. This year we are offering an option for members to extend their coverage for training outside the club sanctioned activities. The extended coverage cost is $20.00 for the year and can be purchased during registration.
