Leaving from DQ on Caribou St W between 4th and 5th Avenue.

Another beautiful day for a bike ride. Expect a 90-minute ride on the river valley trails.

Here are a couple of typical trail riding mantras:

"Look where you want to go" is number one, "Over, Under, Through" is another.

As vegetation along the trails grows, we sometimes find ourselves in conflict.

Hand tools should be used to facilitate "Look where you want to go". If you can’t see the trail, you can’t see the obstacles.

"Over, Under, Through" should guide any further minimal trail maintenance decisions.

Complete an ABC-Quick Check of your bicycle.

Bring something to drink.

Wear a helmet.
