TNR 2018-35

Tuesday Night Ride

August 28, 2018

6:15 pm Start Time

Leaving from DQ on Caribou St W between 4th and 5th Avenue.

This will be a 90-minute ride on the trails of the Moose Jaw river valley.

Sunset is at 7:54pm, Civil Twilight ends at 8:29pm.

It is recommended that you have lights for your ride home, white on the front, red on the rear.

There are two kinds of bicycle lights, those "to be seen" and those "to see with".

"To be seen" is so you don’t get run over by a car.

"To see with" is so you can go faster in the dark.

For late-Fall TNR, you will need "to see with" lights.

Presently, a minimum 700 lumens is recommended for trail riding in the dark.

Also, now is the time for choosing tires for winter TNR.

Studded tires are recommended for Moose Jaw winter conditions.

Get them early, supplies are limited.
