The nice thing about TNR in the winter months is that it is never the same ride twice.

The bad thing about TNR in the winter months is that it is never the same ride twice.

Tonight’s ride may feature rain. Yes, that’s right, rain in January in Moose Jaw.

Winter rain is basically kryptonite to cyclists. It will freeze on your clothes and make you cold.

It will freeze on your bike and make things like braking or shifting gears impossible.

We only need an hour-and-a-half, so we may get lucky. If not, the ride may have to be shortened, re-routed, or cancelled.

You be the judge, pay close attention to the forecast and the radar.

Dress your lower body for the temperature, dress your upper body for the Windchill.

Cover exposed skin.
