It was a very exciting evening at Buffalo Pound PP tonight as Western Trail Builders arrived to begin work on the trails. This is a joint project between Sask Parks, Saskatchewan Cycling association and theMoose Jaw Pavers – Road and Mountain Bike Cluband is being funded through a National Trails Coalition grant, Sask Parks and contributions from bike clubs. The North Face Regina – Store owned & operated by Prairie Summit Shop contributed the proceeds from an event last fall ($1800), ORS contributed $500 and the Moose Jaw Pavers have contributed $2500 towards the project.
The contractor will be onsite for the next 4-5 days. The trails being worked on will be flagged at the entrances. The work will focus on the implementation on the recommendations from the Master Plan that was prepared a couple years ago. Thank you everyone.
